Room categories
Both of our hotels have a total of 137 rooms in the 3 and 4 star categories, subdivided into ‘Comfortable’, ‘Business’ and ‘Executive’, which we are happy to present to you as follows.
The furnishings are designed for both the business traveller and the short holiday-maker. The rooms are distinguished by their informal flair.
We naturally provide non-smoking floors and rooms for allergy sufferers.
All of the comfortable and business rooms were renovated in 2001. The Hotel Consul was fully renovated in August 2007.
Furnishings
In each case, we provide the following facilities, irrespective of which room type your choose.
- A comfortable bed (2.10 m long in the Drees Hotel and 2.00 m long in the Consul Hotel).
- Bathroom with shower or bath and WC.
- Hair-dryer.
- Vanity mirror.
- Desk with reading lamp.
- Coffee table with seat.
- Cable television.
- Radio in the TV.
- Mini-bar.
- STD telephone.
- Luggage stand.
- Modem connection (analogue).
- Room safe.
- Electric trouser press.
- Smoking and non-smoking rooms.
- Rooms for allergy sufferers.
Additionally in the Hotel Consul:
- Air-conditioning in all rooms.
- Exclusively non-smoking rooms.
- Two floors for allergy sufferers.
- Free DSL connection to the internet in the rooms.
You can expect a whirlpool in our wedding suite.
For the most comfortable sleep possible, we offer you water beds with a massaging function in our comfortable and exclusive rooms. These can be booked for a supplement of only € 10.
On request
We will gladly offer you the following amenities on request.
- Rooms with a connecting door, e.g., for families.
- Child´s bed.
- Additional large pillows.
- Special pillows and a blanket or bedspread for allergy sufferers.
- Woollen blanket.
Exclusive rooms
Our exclusive rooms are designed for the guest who is price-conscious but loves comfort. These rooms offer more than merely a 3 star standard. They have a desk, mini-bar, hair-dryer, cable TV and radio and telephone, as well as air-conditioning and a free DSL internet connection.
Rooms are bookable as single, twin-bed or double rooms.
Business rooms
These rooms offer all amenities which the business traveller is looking for and they are equipped with a telephone, desk with fax connection and modem connection (analogue), mini-bar, room safe, electric trouser press, cable TV and radio, vanity mirror and hair-dryer. The windows are soundproofed and guarantee peaceful sleeepng.
Rooms are bookable as single or double rooms.
Comfortable rooms
You can choose between a king- size bed (1.60 m wide), separate mattresses or separate beds. The rooms are distinguished by their spaciousness and have a mini-bar, room safe, cable TV and radio, telephone, electric trouser press, vanity mirror and hair-dryer.
These rooms are bookable as single or double rooms.
