The town of Lünen is located at the junction between the Ruhr region and Münsterland, 25 km from Dortmund and 58 km from Münster: in the greenbelt, it offers a large potential for leisure and recreation as well as being a favourable transport location - close to the A1 and A2 motorways.
Woods, meadows and fields, charming fortresses and moated castles present a contrasting environment, which is also excellent terrain for riding bicycles.
The Ringhotel Am Stadtpark is connected with the events centre and the municipal theatre: it is located approximately 400 m from Lünen´s town centre.
